​About this Event

​​Expansion: Redefining Ability will focus on the disabled community. This event will feature a diverse panel of individuals with various physical disabilities, sharing their personal stories and experiences. Our aim is to elevate awareness about the unique challenges and systemic barriers faced by disabled individuals, while also celebrating their strengths and contributions. Our host will be guiding an inspirational panel discussion using an engaging, live talk show format. By bringing together voices from the disabled community, we hope to foster a deeper understanding, promote inclusivity, and encourage compassion and acceptance.

What is Expansion?

Expansion is a dynamic community outreach and advocacy program by Greenhouse Gives. Expansion is designed to bring together a diverse panel of experts, community leaders, and advocates. These individuals share their personal stories and experiences in a safe, inclusive space, facilitating meaningful connections and promoting cultural awareness. Attendees have the opportunity to engage deeply, listen to firsthand accounts, and expand their perspectives on issues affecting diverse populations.

 

Expansion aims to:

• Elevate awareness about the systemic challenges faced by underrepresented communities.

• Celebrate the strengths and positive contributions of these communities.

• Foster deeper understanding, cultural awareness, compassion, and acceptance.

• Provide a platform for meaningful dialogue, learning, and connection.

How You Can Help:

We are seeking support from individuals and businesses related to the disability community in any of the following ways:

• Hosting a table to share resources and promote your organization.

• Serving as a panelist or recommending someone connected to your organization.

• Providing a performance or interactive activity for attendees.

• Helping us spread the word about the event.

• Helping secure funding and sponsorships for the event

• Volunteering to help with event set up, take down and operations.​​
